The Coop on Judson is a coworking space and event venue at 4523 Judson Rd in Longview, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or become a member or event client, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how to turn off ad tracking.
1. Who we are
This website (thecooplongview.com) is operated by The Coop on Judson ("The Coop", "we", "us"). You can reach us any time about anything in this policy:

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry details — your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us in a message, form, or ad response, including event dates and guest counts.
- Membership and booking details — the plan you choose, your business name if you use us as a business address, and access credentials for keyless entry.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation, the amount, and the last four digits.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, how far you scroll, how long you stay, and the site or ad that referred you.
- Cookies and similar technology — including the Meta Pixel, described in section 4.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. We don't ask for your Social Security number, government ID number, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, religious beliefs, or immigration status through this website — and we don't want it. Please don't send any of that to us in a form or email.
3. How we use your information
- Answer your questions, schedule tours, and hold event dates.
- Process memberships, day passes, workstation rentals, and event bookings.
- Send you emails you asked for — including our follow-up series about The Coop. Every one has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- Measure and improve our advertising, so we spend less money showing ads to people who aren't interested.
- Keep the building and our members secure, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
4. Advertising, cookies, and the Meta Pixel
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those ads actually work, we use the Meta Pixel — a small piece of code on this site that reports activity back to Meta Platforms, Inc.
What the pixel and our related tracking report:
- That you viewed a page, and which one.
- That you clicked a button such as "Buy a day pass", "Join", a phone number, or a tour request.
- That you submitted a form or completed a purchase, and the amount.
- Engagement signals like scroll depth and time on page.
- Cookie identifiers Meta uses to recognise a browser, and the ad or campaign that referred you.
When you complete a purchase, our server also sends Meta a confirmation of that sale through Meta's Conversions API. Your email address and phone number are cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) before they are sent — Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint used only for matching, never your actual address or number in readable form.
This activity lets us build audiences: for example, showing a follow-up ad to people who viewed our wedding venue page but didn't inquire. Under Texas law this is called targeted advertising, and you have the right to opt out.
Opt out of ad tracking on this site One click. It stores a preference in your browser and stops the Meta Pixel from loading on future visits. You'll need to do it once per browser and device, and it will reset if you clear your browser data.
You can also limit this in other ways:
- Adjust your Meta ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Turn on your browser's "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal — we honour recognised opt-out preference signals where our systems can detect them.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need. We don't let them use your information for their own unrelated purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our members and property, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.
6. Your rights and choices
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we extend the same choices to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live. You may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete it.
- Stop using it for targeted advertising.
- Stop sending you marketing email.
Email events@thecooplongview.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we'll respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first. There's no charge, and asking won't affect your membership, pricing, or service in any way. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
7. Email marketing
If you give us your email through a form, an ad, or in person, we may send you information about coworking, memberships, events, and things happening at The Coop. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We'll still email you about transactions you've started — receipts, booking confirmations, and access instructions.
8. How long we keep information
Inquiries that don't become bookings: up to 24 months. Member and event client records: for the duration of the relationship plus 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements. Website analytics data: as retained by Meta and Vercel under their own schedules. We delete sooner if you ask us to and we have no legal reason to keep it.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), reputable processors, hashing for sensitive identifiers, and access controls limited to staff who need it. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. Please don't email us anything you'd consider highly sensitive.
10. Children
This website and our memberships are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we don't process the data of known minors for targeted advertising. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change materially affects how we use your information, we'll say so clearly on this page or notify you directly.
