Terms of Service

These terms cover using this website and buying anything from The Coop on Judson — day passes, memberships, private workstations, and event venue rentals. We've tried to write them like people talk. When you buy from us or use the space, you're agreeing to them.
1. Who you're dealing with
The Coop on Judson ("The Coop", "we", "us") operates a coworking space and event venue at 4523 Judson Rd, Longview, TX 75605. Reach us at 903-918-9886 or events@thecooplongview.com.
2. Prices and payment
Our current published rates:

Payments are processed by Stripe. Recurring plans bill monthly on the same date until you cancel. Prices exclude applicable taxes. We may change prices going forward, but we'll give current members at least 30 days' notice by email before a recurring rate changes, and you can cancel before it applies.
Descriptions and prices on this site are offered in good faith but may contain errors. If something is listed wrong, we'll tell you before charging you and you can walk away.
3. Memberships and day passes
- Access hours. Keyless access for members and private workstation holders is 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Day passes are valid during business hours on the day purchased.
- Cancelling. Cancel a recurring membership any time before your next billing date and it won't renew. You keep access through the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Monthly fees already billed aren't refundable, and an unused day pass isn't refundable — but if something goes wrong on our end, call us. We'd rather fix it than argue about $25.
- Your space is yours. Don't share access credentials, prop open doors, or let non-members in. Access is personal to you.
- Business address. A business address is included with the Private Workstation plan. It's for business mail while your plan is active. It ends when your plan ends, and you're responsible for redirecting your mail and updating your registrations.
4. Event venue rentals
These are the booking terms as published:
- 50% reservation deposit holds your date. It's non-refundable and is applied toward your rental balance.
- No separate security deposit. We trust our guests to take care of the space. If there's excessive cleaning, damage, missing items, or a policy violation, we'll invoice the applicable charges after your event.
- Balance is due 7 days before your event.
- Free rescheduling with 14 or more days' notice, subject to date availability.
- 10% off for nonprofits and military.
- Tables and chairs are included free with your rental. The covered outdoor kitchen and patio is an add-on, and it's included free for events over 100 guests.
Your written rental agreement or invoice governs the specifics of your event — hours, guest count, add-ons, setup and teardown times. If anything there conflicts with this page, your signed agreement wins.
Cancellations inside 14 days If you cancel with fewer than 14 days' notice, the deposit is forfeited and any paid balance may be retained, because at that point we've likely turned away other bookings for your date. Talk to us — if we can rebook the date, we'll work with you.
5. House rules
- Treat the space and the people in it well. Harassment, threats, and discriminatory conduct get you removed without a refund.
- No illegal activity, no smoking indoors, and no weapons except as permitted by Texas law.
- Keep noise reasonable — people are on calls. Use the phone booths for video meetings.
- Alcohol at events requires our advance written approval and compliance with Texas law, including licensed service where required.
- You're responsible for your guests, vendors, and anyone you bring.
- Don't use our address or brand to imply we endorse your business.
We may end a membership or event booking for a serious or repeated violation of these rules. For memberships, we'll refund the unused portion of the current month unless the violation involved damage, harassment, or illegal activity.
6. Your property
Bring your laptop, monitor, and gear — plenty of people do. But you leave it at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal property, whether at a workstation, in a meeting room, or during an event. Lock up what matters and insure what's valuable.
7. Internet and utilities
We provide business-grade WiFi and we work to keep it fast and up. We can't promise uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for lost work, missed deadlines, or lost revenue from an outage, power interruption, or equipment failure. Don't use our network for anything illegal or for activity that degrades it for everyone else.
8. Liability
You use the space at your own risk. To the fullest extent Texas law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to your use of this site, the space, or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
Nothing here limits liability for our own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything that can't be limited under Texas law.
9. Your responsibility to us
If your event, your guests, your vendors, or your use of the space causes a claim, injury, or damage, you agree to cover our resulting costs, including reasonable attorney's fees. For larger events we may require you to carry event liability insurance and name us as an additional insured — we'll tell you in advance if that applies to your booking.
10. Website content
The text, photos, logos, and design on this site belong to The Coop or our licensors. Don't copy or republish them commercially without asking. You're welcome to share links and to tag us — we like that.
Blog posts and guides on this site are general information about working and hosting events in East Texas. They aren't legal, tax, financial, or business advice. Talk to a qualified professional for your specific situation.
11. Photography
We sometimes photograph the space for marketing, and members and guests may appear in the background. Tell us if you'd rather not be photographed and we'll respect it. If you want a photo of you removed, email us and we'll take it down.
12. Privacy
How we handle your information — including our use of the Meta Pixel and how to opt out of ad tracking — is covered in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. If a change materially affects an active membership or a booked event, we'll notify you by email. Continuing to use the space after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Gregg County, Texas, and we both consent to that venue. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
